Many thanks to everyone who turned in their ornaments for the CHKD X-mas tree, however, we are well short of the number of the ornaments we need for the tree. We need about 70 ornaments and have about half that. I know some of you forgot to bring your ornanments to the meeting, so I am asking that you send me a note using this form please take your ornaments by Woodcraft and place them on or under the tree over the next couple weeks. We had a very good showing for our club last year and I want us to have another good showing again this year so we can help raise money for the children of CHKD. Last year was the first year that Tidewater Turners supported decorating a Christmas Tree for the CHKD Holly Festival of Trees. Our tree went for $750.00 last year and we are endeavoring to decorate a tree again this year but we need about thirty more ornaments. Please sign up to make one, hopefully two ornaments and we will count you in. But we need them delivered to the store by not later than Nov 16th. We will keep you updated as to our progress weekly.
